AgileBio Connects LabCollector LIMS to HubSpot CRM, So Labs Receive Orders From CRM Deals and Send Results and Reports Back Automatically

A new two-way integration in LabCollector Lab Service Manager (LSM) turns HubSpot deals into lab jobs and keeps sales and customer teams up to date with job status, results and PDF reports — without retyping anything.

San Diego, CA & Paris, France – November 2026 – AgileBio, maker of the LabCollector laboratory information management system (LIMS), today announced a native two-way integration between LabCollector Lab Service Manager (LSM) and HubSpot CRM.

Service labs, contract research organisations and testing labs that sell through HubSpot can now receive orders straight from the CRM and send results back, with no copy-and-paste between sales and the lab.

Diagram of the LabCollector LSM to HubSpot integration: a HubSpot deal becomes a lab job automatically, and the job number, status, results summary, PDF report and pipeline stage are written back to the deal, with every exchange tracked in the sync log.
HubSpot orders in, Lab results and reports out — a deal becomes a job automatically, and every status, result and report is written back and tracked in the sync log.

From Closed Deal to Lab Job, Automatically

Deal becomes a job

When a HubSpot deal reaches the stage the lab chooses — Closed won, for example — LabCollector creates the job. The deal company becomes the customer, its contact is copied, and each line item becomes a test, matched to the lab’s own tests by product SKU.

Any record works

Labs that track work in HubSpot tickets, orders or custom objects instead of deals can use those records as the order source.

Updated, never duplicated

If the deal changes later, the existing job is updated rather than duplicated — unless the job is already finished, in which case it is left untouched.

Results Where the Customer Team Works

As the job moves forward, LabCollector writes back to the HubSpot record:

  • Job number and status
  • A plain-text results summary
  • A link to the client portal
  • The PDF report, attached privately to the deal

Labs can also move the deal through its pipeline when a job is received, accepted, put on hold, rejected or completed. Sales and account managers can see where an order stands without asking the lab.

Quality control stays in charge: if a report is blocked by QC, it is not sent, and the reason is recorded.

Built for the Current HubSpot Platform

The integration supports the two connection methods HubSpot offers today:

Service key (recommended)

Connected in a few clicks in HubSpot. LabCollector checks for new orders on a schedule, so the lab server never needs to be reachable from the internet.

HubSpot app with webhooks

For labs that want orders within seconds. Every incoming call is signed and verified before it is accepted.

Simple, Safe Setup

Guided setup

Administrators connect HubSpot from LabCollector’s Integrations screen, with a step-by-step setup guide in a side panel.

Test connection

Confirms access and lists any HubSpot permission that is still missing, before any order is imported.

One-click properties

A single button creates the LabCollector fields in HubSpot, so there is no manual property mapping.

Secrets protected

Keys and secrets are stored encrypted and never shown again. Only LabCollector administrators can change the settings.

Automatic retries

Failed imports and sends are retried automatically instead of waiting for someone to notice.

Full traceability

Every exchange is recorded in the audit trail and on a sync log, so each order and each result can be traced end to end.

One Integration Engine for Every Partner

The HubSpot connector runs on LSM’s generic EDI integration engine, the one labs already use for XML exchanges. That engine also gains:

JSON messages PUT and PATCH sending A server certificate check Change-order handling More reliable retries

Labs that connect to other ordering or ERP systems benefit from the same improvements.

"Sales teams and laboratories describe the same order in two different systems, and someone has always had to bridge that gap by hand. Connecting HubSpot to LSM removes that work entirely: the deal the sales team closes is the job the lab runs, and the results the lab produces are visible to the customer team the moment they are released — with quality control still deciding what goes out."

— Pierre Rodrigues, CEO of AgileBio

Availability

The HubSpot integration is part of LabCollector Lab Service Manager 4.229, available now to customers running LSM with an active support plan. A HubSpot account with permission to create service keys is required.
